Visitor Policy
Visiting Hours - Effective December 1, 2025
Burke welcomes visitors & recognizes the importance of the support of each patient’s loved ones.
- Visiting hours: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Please plan to arrive before 7:30 p.m.
- Three visitors at a time - unlimited visitors per day
- The Colonnade is now closed for the winter
Please be aware of the following safety procedures and guidelines:
- Upon entering the hospital lobby, you will be asked to present an ID.
- You will receive a visitor ID sticker.
- Visitors must be 12 years of age or older.
- Visitors from 12-15 years old must be accompanied by an adult in the patient’s room.
- Visitors can use the first floor cafeteria and eat in the adjacent room, Burke Commons.
- When your loved one is in therapy, visit the Marsal Caregiver Center on the 1st floor.
- Patients on isolation can receive visitors, but must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Directions and PPE will be provided by nursing upon arrival to the patient unit.
- Please sign out at the nursing station before leaving the unit with a patient.
- Please check in at the lobby after your visit and return the visitor ID sticker.
- Service Animals at Burke: In accordance with federal, state and local laws, Burke allows service animals to accompany individuals with disabilities in all areas of our facilities where the public is normally allowed to go. A service animal is an animal that performs a specific task or set of tasks to assist a person with a disability.
