Prosthetics and Orthotics

Burke’s comprehensive outpatient physician practice includes management of prosthetics and orthotics. If you are suffering with a damaged, weak or lost limb(s), the proper management of a prostheses or orthotic brace by one of Burke’s expert physicians can enhance your daily life and allow you to experience improved independence, function, mobility and stability. The goal of the program is to evaluate each patient individually to determine which type of orthosis or prosthesis is appropriate. This approach where no particular type of orthosis or prosthesis fits all ensures that all patients receive the highest level of specialized care, as each patient's treatment is managed on a case-by-case basis.

You may be a candidate to receive services in Burke's Prosthetics and Orthotics Program if you have experienced damage, weakness or loss/amputation to one or more limbs.

Services and Treatments

After a thorough examination, Burke's expert team will determine the best type of orthosis or prosthesis indicated for you based on your individual needs and diagnosis. Services available to patients in an outpatient setting include management of:

  • Prosthetic limb (manual controlled)
