Anne Felicia Ambrose, M.D., MS (CR), PABPMR is the Program Director for the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Residency program at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital. She has been instrumental in launching the program, which is the first residency program at Burke and aims to educate the next generation of leaders in the field of rehabilitation medicine. Dr. Ambrose also serves as the co-director of the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Program and the Vice Chair of Education at Burke.

Dr. Ambrose received her medical degree from St. John’s Medical School in Bangalore, India and her Masters of Science in Clinical Research degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine-NYU. She was an intern in the Department of Surgery as well as a resident in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY.

Dr. Ambrose was the Medical Director of the Traumatic Brain Injury Program at Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City and is a diplomat of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She also received her Brain Injury Medicine Subspecialty Certification from the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Dr. Ambrose has been an active member, including serving as a board member of the Association of Academic Physiatrists (AAP) and President of the New York Academy of Traumatic Brain Injury.
