Burke Rehabilitation Hospital provides acute rehabilitation care for patients on Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) who require intensive inpatient rehabilitation.

If you are recovering from cancer, gastrointestinal conditions and other severe illness requiring intensive inpatient rehabilitation, you can continue to receive the nutrition you need while benefiting from the enhanced coordination and transitions of high-quality care provided by the Burke multidisciplinary team led by a physician and in coordination with pharmacy and nutrition teams.

Eligibility

  • Burke accepts established or new patients on TPN
  • Burke admits patients on TPN Monday-Thursday
  • Patients must receive TPN through peripheral PICC line, double or triple lumen

TPN at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital is provided by Central Admixture Pharmacy Services Inc. (CAPS), the nation’s largest network of outsourcing admixture pharmacies.
