Physiotherapy Scoliosis Specific Exercise (PSSE)

PSSE utilizes tailored exercises to help strengthen a curved spine. This treatment can help patients of all ages experiencing:

  • Scoliosis abnormal curvature of the spine that may look like the letter “C” or “S” when viewed from the back. It can be present at birth or develop during childhood or as an adult.
  • Kyphosis - a rounding in the upper trunk and shoulders that can compress the spine and ribs. When it occurs in children, it’s known as Scheuermann’s Disease.
