Who Needs Occupational Therapy?

Burke can help people 16 and younger on a case-by-case basis who need:

Cognitive Rehabilitation 

Burke’s occupational and speech therapists use new technologies and traditional therapy approaches to help you overcome health-related cognitive challenges. 

Driver Evaluation Program 

Occupational therapists help you know when it is safe to return to driving. 

Functional Tone Management 

Get assistance managing upper limb tone and spasticity and recover function. Combining botulinum toxin (Botox) injections with occupational therapy treatment improves muscle tone and function in your arm and hand. To schedule a functional tone management appointment, call (914) 597-2326.   

Home Safety Assessment Program 

Stay in your home longer as you age with our home safety evaluation program. A licensed occupational therapist will:  

  • Look for potential dangers like tripping hazards 
  • Remove any obstacles 
  • Determine the accessibility and safety of the home

Muscle Tone Management Injections 

Injections help manage arm muscle tone and spasticity and recover the functional use of your arms and hands.

Vision Rehabilitation
