White Plains, NY – September 29, 2015 – Burke Rehabilitation Hospital is pleased to announce that Richard Sgaglio, Ph.D., has been appointed as the new Senior Administrator of Marketing, Communications & Development. The appointment is effective immediately.
Sgaglio had been the Director of Marketing & External Relations since 2011, overseeing the marketing, advertising, public relations, external communications and website of Burke Rehabilitation Center. He joined Burke in 2010 as a marketing specialist.
In his new position, Sgaglio will continue to head the hospital’s marketing, advertising, digital and communications efforts, as well as oversee the strategic management of Burke’s development department and fundraising. In addition, he will oversee the Burke Auxiliary, a group of volunteers who sponsor events and help fundraise for the hospital.
Before joining Burke, Sgaglio held positions as senior marketing and communication specialist at St. Rose Dominican Hospital in Henderson, Nevada and Director of Business Development at Spectrum Medical, a medical service consulting firm in Las Vegas.
