2017 is coming to a close—and so is the Faces of Burke photography exhibit. This inspiring gallery of photos and stories of the rehabilitation journeys of former Burke patients will be on display at the White Plains Library during November and December.
The display rounds out 14 months of travel throughout the county for the exhibit, which began right here at Burke in November 2016. The exhibit showcases the individuality of the patients treated at Burke every day and illustrates a diverse and inspiring group of six patients who have succeeded in regaining mobility and independence through their experience at Burke.
These patients have experienced physical and cognitive impairments resulting from stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, cardiac disease and orthopedic issues. The photographs in this exhibit offer a glimpse into their journey towards recovery.
The exhibit will be on display on the North wall of the Museum Gallery on the second floor through the end of December.
