October is National Physical Therapy Month

Published October 4, 2017

During National Physical Therapy Month, Burke would like to salute our physical therapists who work so hard to help our patients regain their ability to move and function in their everyday lives. With such dedicated therapists, our patients continue to receive the excellent level of therapy care that Burke is known for. Every month of the year our therapists go above and beyond for our patients, but in October we want to specially thank them for their commitment and hard work.

All of Burke's outpatient physical therapists are licensed and have advanced degrees, and many have advanced certifications within specialized niches, such as McKenzie spine evaluation and treatment, vestibular rehabilitation treatment and lymphedema management. We offer outpatient physical therapy services for patients (adolescent to geriatric) recovering from orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and vestibular impairments of all diagnoses. Physical therapy is available at our main campus, as well as at our six satellite clinics throughout Westchester (Armonk, Bronx, Mamaroneck, Purchase, Somers, Yonkers).
