The Burke Auxiliary’s annual brunch will be held on Sunday, September 17th from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Patient Dining Room in the Wood Pavilion, Building #7.
Since its establishment in 1959, the Burke Auxiliary has donated over $1 million to special projects at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital. The Auxiliary sponsors many events and activities throughout the year. This group of men and women are dedicated to serving as volunteers and raising money for Burke Rehabilitation Hospital.
At this year’s brunch, Burke’s Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer, Marie Spencer, CRRN, Ph.D. will speak about the dangers of high blood pressure. Burke nurses will be available during the brunch to perform free blood pressure screenings for attendees.
