FREE Lecture on Heart Health on July 13

Want to learn more about keeping your heart healthy as you age? Join us for the next installment of Burke’s Senior Health Series, a bi-monthly conversation focused on topics of interest to seniors in the community, like fitness, healthy eating and more.

On Thursday, July 13, Murray Low, Ed.D., the director of Cardiac Rehabilitation at Burke, will discuss the importance of exercise when it comes to maintaining heart health, including how to reverse some risk factors for heart disease.

There will be a question and answer session following the presentation and audience members are encouraged to take part.

The presentation begins at 9 a.m. and a light breakfast will be served beginning at 8:30 a.m. It will take place in the Rosedale room on the second floor of the Billings Building on Burke’s main campus at 785 Mamaroneck Ave. in White Plains.
