The 2017 Burke Award was held at the Brae Burn Country Club on June 8—and was a huge success. With over 300 people in attendance, guests enjoyed an outdoor cocktail hour, a live auction and a beautiful sit-down dinner.
The Burke Award is the highest honor bestowed by the Board of Trustees of Burke Rehabilitation Hospital and recognizes strength and courage in overcoming the challenge of a disability or a significant contribution to the understanding of physical disability.
This year’s honorees were Barbara and Steven Kessler and Dr. Michael James Reding. You can read more about each honoree here.
