Interested in Trying Wheelchair Table Tennis?

Adaptive sports are a great way for people of all abilities to participate in sports and exercise programs. At Burke, we have a number of adaptive activities, like yogatai chialpine/water skiingclimbing and more.

And here’s one more you may want to try: Wheelchair table tennis. Burke’s wheelchair table tennis program has been going strong since 1980 and brings players together from all over the tri-state area.

On Sunday, March 13, Burke and Tri-State Wheelchair and Ambulatory Athletics will be hosting an Adaptive Table Tennis Clinic at Burke’s Sports Center Gym on the main campus in White Plains from 1 pm – 4 pm. At the clinic, experts will go over the rules of the game and basic techniques and participants will be able to take part in exhibition matches and receive feedback. Light refreshments will also be served.

What you need to know:

  • Registration will be limited to the first 20 registrants
  • There is a returnable fee of $20.00/athlete to secure the reservation 
  • Participants must complete and return the registration form and the sign the release of liability and permission to photograph/video section
  • Complete and return by Thursday, March 10
