Spotlight: Burke in the News

Burke Rehabilitation Hospital and its physicians, researchers and staff members are often called upon to serve as expert sources for various consumer and trade publications. In just the last few months, Burke has been featured in the Associated Press, the Baltimore Sun, News 12 Westchester, Metro NY and Westchester Magazine. Below are a few of the stories:  

Dr. Barry Jordan, Burke’s associate medical director, was interviewed for the Associated Press about concussions in light of the new movie, Concussion, which premiered at the end of December. Click here to read the full story.

News 12 Westchester did a feature story on the wonderful relationship between Gino Mangiafridda, a former Burke patient and Pelham High School hockey player and Ryan McDonagh, the captain of the New York Rangers and 2015 Burke Award winner, which flourished through Burke.
