Burke Rehabilitation Center Celebrates Two Significant Milestones in October

Published November 4, 2013

Burke Rehabilitation Center had much to celebrate in October with a new look and more social media fans than ever.

For the first time in nearly 100 years, Burke unveiled a new logo that better-encapsulates our mission and synergy between research and rehabilitation. Burke is truly a rehabilitation center with our core business coming from the inpatient hospital. However, over the years, Burke has expanded our reach into outpatient rehabilitation, now providing quality, care at six locations throughout our service area. Burke also features an associated medical research institute on our main campus, making us one of the only rehabilitation centers in the United States to offer this synergy.

Our new Burke logo better captures the essence of our divisions and brands us as more than the sum of our parts. Burke is a dynamic and changing rehabilitation center, comprising three divisions that all strive to reduce disability from illness, injury or surgery. That hasn’t changed in the past 100 years and we hope that we will continue to do the same for the next 100 years.

We are also pleased to announce that we have reached more than 1,000 fans on Facebook. As we strive to provide you with the latest news about rehabilitation, advances in research and outpatient services, we thank all of our fans for continuing the conversation on these important topics and for sharing Burke with their families, friends and colleagues.

We look forward to having more engaging conversations with our fans as we move into the next century of Burke. Please refer to our Social Media Policy if you have any questions about our social media program.
