In recognition of Spinal Cord Injury Awareness Month, Burke Rehabilitation hospital is hosting several events throughout the month of September that focus on adaptive sports and fitness. Partnering with Achilles International, The National Multiple Sclerosis Society and The National Spinal Cord Injury Association, Burke is offering the following events:
- Sept. 5: Adaptive Sports and Fitness Seminar,5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Patient Dining Room in the Wood Building. Please enter through the hospital's main lobby.
- Sept. 12: First Hand Cycling Clinic, 4 to 6 p.m. on the Burke track.
- Sept. 19: Physical Performance and Health Seminar, 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the Patient Dining Room.
- Sept. 16: Second Hand Cycling Clinic, 4 to 6 p.m. on the Burke track.
