Justin Hill, M.D., is a board-certified neurologist and director of the brain injury program at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital. As director, Dr. Hill leads a multidisciplinary team of nurses, therapists, and other rehabilitation specialists in the treatment of diagnoses such as brain tumor, meningitis, skull fracture, cerebral contusion, encephalitis, intra-cerebral or subarachnoid hemorrhage, and brain abscess.
Dr. Hill received his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston, in Charleston, South Carolina and conducted post-doctoral work in neuroscience at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He completed his residency in neurology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, also in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and went on to work as a neural repair research fellow at the Buck Institute in Novato, California.
Prior to his current position, Dr. Hill completed a fellowship in neurorehabilitation at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital and served as both a clinical instructor and an assistant professor at Burke. Dr. Hill has co-authored numerous peer-reviewed studies and is a member of the Society for Neuroscience, American Neurological Association, and the American Society for Neurorehabilitation.
