Giving Opportunities

With numerous ways to give, it’s easy to find what works best for you. You can partner with us through a:

One-time gift

Express your appreciation for the care you, a family member or a friend received while at Burke with a one-time gift. When making your donation, you can recognize a special doctor, nurse, therapist or staff member who went above and beyond—further expressing your gratitude.

Honor/Memorial Gift

Many of our patients or their family members choose to honor a Burke staff person for the care they received by making a donation through our Grateful Patient Program. Staff members and their supervisor are notified of the honor (the amount of the gift is kept confidential).

Many choose to make a gift in memory of their loved one or to have donations made to Burke Rehabilitation, in lieu of flowers. Memorial benches and other areas of recognition are available. Please contact the Development Office for more information.

Gifts of Stock

Gifts of stock are welcomed. Please notify us of your intentions so we may properly acknowledge your generosity.

Matching Gifts

Take part in your company’s matching gift program, which can significantly increase the impact of your support. Reach out to your Human Resources department to find out if this program is offered.

Planned Giving/Bequests

Ensure Burke’s longtime success through a bequest, trust, charitable gift annuity, insurance policy and or other charitable vehicle.

Equipment Donation

Donate new or gently used hospital-grade therapeutic equipment and assistive devices, such as wheelchairs and walkers.

How to Give

Thank you in advance for your generous gift. To make a donation, you can:

Use our online form. Find specific fields for directing your donation, making a monthly gift or honoring an employee or a special someone. (Employees and other honorees are notified of your recognition, but the amount is not disclosed.)
