Burke Rehabilitation opened its doors on April 7, 1915. The main 61 acre campus in White Plains, NY remains virtually unchanged, apart from the main 150-bed inpatient hospital added in 1972.

To accommodate the changing needs of our patients, support the patient experience and provide a welcoming and healing environment, Burke is engaged in a multiphase project to upgrade this 50+ year old hospital.

The main lobby has already undergone a complete transformation, greeting visitors in a warm and modern space. Patient rooms are being updated with new furniture, flooring, lighting, fixtures and state of the art technology designed to improve a patient’s safety and enhance the patient experience and common areas such as corridors and nursing stations will also be refreshed.
