Dr. Rizwan is a fellowship-trained Sports Medicine physician specializing in the management of musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions. He focuses on conservative, non-operative management of both chronic and acute pain with additional interest in sports-related injuries and arthritis. He is trained and skilled in the use of ultrasound for diagnosis and therapeutic interventions. These include steroid injections, hyaluronic acid, Botox for spasticity, nerve blocks, and regenerative medicine such as platelet-rich plasma (PRP).

As a sports medicine physician, he has a passion for working with athletes at both the amateur and professional level. He has extensive experience providing sideline medical coverage to high school, college, and professional athletes. He has presented at several national conferences and provided lectures to medical students and residents. His goal is to provide education to patients so that they may better understand their conditions and how to manage them.
