Lauren M. Berrill, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in neuropsychological assessment of individuals across the lifespan with complex neurologic, medical, and psychiatric conditions.
Dr. Berrill obtained her doctorate in combined school-clinical psychology from Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, Yeshiva University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship in clinical psychology with a focus on clinical neuropsychology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She completed her postdoctoral residency in lifespan clinical neuropsychology at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital.
Dr. Berrill’s clinical and research interests include the neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation of those affected by serious injury or illness, such as brain injuries, strokes, spinal cord injuries, amputations, cancer, polytrauma, and other neurologic conditions. She also enjoys working psychotherapeutically using cognitive remediation skills to help optimize recovery and adaptive functioning.
She is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology, the American Psychological Association (Div. 22, Rehabilitation Psychology and Div. 40, Society for Clinical Neuropsychology), the International Neuropsychological Society, the New York Neuropsychology Group, and the New York State Association of Neuropsychology.
