Residency Program

Meet Our Residents

Burke Rehabilitation Hospital’s Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency program currently has 12 full-time residents. 

PGY-4 Class 








Soumabha Das, M.D. received his medical training at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India and did his preliminary training in Internal Medicine at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.








Raia Minassian, M.D. received her medical training at the Medical University, Sofia Faculty of Medicine in Bulgaria and did her preliminary training in General Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.








Hossam Eldin Mohamed, M.D.
received his medical training at the American University of Antigua School of Medicine and did his preliminary training in General Surgery at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. He is currently one of Burke's Chief Residents








Raman Sharma, M.D. received his medical training at the American University of Antigua School of Medicine (Magna Cum Laude) and did his preliminary training in Internal Medicine at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn. He is currently one of Burke's Chief Residents 


PGY-3 Class 









Yusik Cho, M.D., 
received his medical training at Kyung Hee University in Seoul, South Korea and did his preliminary training in internal medicine at Mt. Sinai in New York City.

Jennifer Russo, M.D., received her medical training at Columbia University and did her preliminary training in General Surgery at North Shore LIJ Hospital in Great Neck, NY. 

 






Salah Eldin Mohamed, M.D., received his medical training at the American University of Antigua and did his preliminary training in General Surgery at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA. 

Daniel Spunburg, M.D. received his medical training at Florida Atlantic University and did his preliminary training in internal medicine at Elmhurt Hospital Center at Mt. Sinai in New York City. 

PGY-2 Class 

Lawrence Chang, D.O. received his medical training at NYIT – College of Osteopathic Medicine in Westbury, NY and did his transitional year at Coney Island Hospital in Brooklyn, NY.

Thao Doan, M.D. received her medical training at the American University of Antigua College of Medicine in Antigua and did her preliminary training in internal medicine at Richmond University in Staten Island, NY.

Tiffany Lau, M.D. received her medical training at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, KS and did her preliminary training in general surgery at Guthrie/Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA.

 

Tochi Nworu, M.D. received her medical training at Rutgers NJ Medical School in Newark, NJ and did her preliminary training in internal medicine at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, NJ.
