Residency Program

Application Process

Applicants typically apply to the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency during their fourth year of medical school. We also consider applications from qualified international medical graduates. Such applicants must have achieved certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) and passed the USMLE Steps 1 and 2 exams at the time of application. All residents must have excellent spoken and written English.

A pre-admission health review and current immunization record are required prior to starting. Prospective residents and fellows must pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Applications for PGY-2 positions will be accepted by directly contacting the residency program director or GME/Program Administrator.

The following must be submitted along with your application:

  • Three Letters of Recommendation
  • Current C.V. clearly explaining any time gaps
  • MSPE (Dean's letter)
