Objective

BrainQ designed a new therapy that uses a small device to send gentle signals to your brain. These signals may help your brain heal and learn after a stroke. Treatments begin in the hospital and continue from the comfort of home on your own schedule, offering consistency and flexibility during a pivotal time for recovery. The goal of this therapy is to help your body work more like it did before the stroke, in the comfort of your own home.

Do I Qualify?

You may qualify if:

You're between 18 and 80 years old
You had an ischemic stroke 4 to 21 days ago
This is your first stroke, or your last stroke was over 3 months ago
You have a new weakness in your arm or hand
You can follow simple three-step instructions
You can start the study within 7 days after leaving the hospital
You can sit and use a device for 40 minutes
A caregiver or family member can help you during the study
