The Spinal Cord Injury Support Group is open to anyone in the community affected by a spinal cord injury (patients, families and caregivers are welcome).
The goal of the support group is to provide individuals living with spinal cord injury tangible tools to assist in coping with the injury as well as a forum to speak about their experiences and share with others who have similar diagnoses. The support group will be facilitated by Janet Goodman, LMSW, social work case manager for the spinal cord injury rehabilitation program.

Whatever medical condition you or a family member may be facing, its nice to know that you don't have to go at it alone.
We encourage you to take advantage of one of the many support groups offered by Burke Rehabilitation Hospital.
Sometimes just talking about things with others who understand has immeasurable benefits.
