Yoga

Yoga is a system of wholeness and incorporates components from the mind, body and spirit. This hatha yoga class is adapted to meet all levels of age and ability. Postures are modified for each person's level of mobility, flexibility and endurance and breathing techniques are emphasized.
                     
Fee: $86 for members /$96 for non-members, 8 week session

Yoga with Deb

This mat-based class uses aligned movement with conscious breathing through yoga poses to stimulate the internal body systems, improve muscle tone and bring balance. Participants must be able to move independently between floor and standing positions, and are asked to refrain from eating 1-2 hours before class. Mats and props will be provided.

Fee: $122.50 for 10 classes (Fitness Center members)
         $135 for 10 classes (non-members)
         $15 for drop ins for 1 class

Seated Yoga with Deb

Experience adaptive yoga poses, postural alignment and movement with conscious breathing while in a seated position off the floor. Participants must be able to independently perform yoga movements or bring along an aide/companion to assist them. This is a chair-based class with an option to stand. Participants are encouraged to refrain from eating 1-2 hours before class.

Slow Flow Yoga

Enjoy sustained stretches to release and relax the body and mind combined with dynamic, slow-flow poses to create strength and balance. Each class will incorporate breath work and finish with savasana, the final relaxation pose. This is both a mat-based and standing class. No yoga experience is necessary, but participants should be comfortable moving between the floor and standing. Props are provided. Please refrain from eating within two hours prior to class. Pre-registration is required.

Fee: $86 for 8 classes (Fitness Center members)
         $96 for 8 classes (non-members)

Therapeutic Yoga

Therapeutic Yoga uses restorative (supported) yoga poses, gentle yoga, breath work, guided meditation and hands-on healing to help individuals nurture their bodies to promote health and wellness. Some benefits of therapeutic yoga include helping to decrease stress, pain and inflammation as well as supporting the immune, cardiovascular, pulmonary and digestive systems.

Fee: $95 per hour

Small-group rates available upon request.
