Volunteer Services

Volunteers help make Burke Rehabilitation Hospital the unique and friendly facility that it is. Over the years, hundreds if not thousands,  of individuals, families and community organizations, have donated their time and talents at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital. From working at our gift shop, to the information desk, to assisting in the Marsal Caregiver Center, volunteers are an integral and important part of Burke’s success. Many of Burke’s volunteers contribute to Burke by joining our active Auxiliary.

Below is a list of some volunteer positions available at Burke:

  • The Burke Gift Shop
  • Marsal Caregiver Center Care Ambassadors
  • Information Desk
  • Patient Visiting
  • Clerical Assistant
  • Therapeutic Recreation
  • Special Events

We ask that adult volunteers commit to three hours, one day a week. Teenage volunteers are asked to make a commitment of 40 hours during a six-month period. The minimum age to volunteer is 14 years old.
