Volunteers help make Burke Rehabilitation Hospital the unique and friendly facility that it is. Over the years, hundreds if not thousands, of individuals, families and community organizations, have donated their time and talents at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital. From working at our gift shop, to the information desk, to assisting in our patient greenhouse, volunteers are an integral and important part of Burke’s success. Most of Burke’s volunteers contribute to Burke by joining our active Auxiliary.
We ask that adult volunteers commit to three hours, one day a week. Teenage volunteers are asked to make a commitment of 40 hours during a six-month period. The minimum age to volunteer is 14 years old.
For more information about volunteering, please contact Gail Cornacchia, Manager of Volunteer Services, at (914) 597-2381, or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Volunteering is a great way to give back. Thank you, in advance, for thinking of Burke! We welcome your interest and appreciate your willingness to offer your time and services. We look forward to partnering with you.
