As director of Burke Rehabilitation Hospital’s Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation program, Vincent Huang, M.D. has a wealth of knowledge and experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He also has special certification from the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in the treatment of patients with spinal cord injuries.
Dr. Huang is a graduate of St. George’s University Medical School in Grenada, West Indies and completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. He is board-certified in both spinal cord injury medicine and physical medicine and rehabilitation.
Prior to joining Burke, Dr. Huang was affiliated with SUNY Upstate Medical University and the prestigious Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. While there, he completed a fellowship in spinal cord injury.
Dr. Huang has co-authored numerous research studies on spinal cord injury and rehabilitation and is a member of the Academy of Spinal Cord Injury Professionals and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. In addition to his inpatient services, Dr. Huang’s outpatient services have helped patients with spinal cord paralysis, multiple sclerosis, spasticity management, and more.
