Referral Criteria 
Patients may be candidates for outpatient services if they have
experienced loss of function due to injury or illness. Adults
with speech, language, or swallowing disorders may also be
candidates for these services.

A referral, stating diagnosis and type of therapy prescribed,
is required from the patient's physician. Once the referral
is received, we will conduct financial screening to determine
insurance coverage. The Burke Rehabilitation Hospital participates
in a variety of insurance plans.
