DEFINITION

Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (CRRN) certification is a generalist certification and is appropriate for professional rehabilitation Nurses. The RNCB’s mission is to promote excellence in care by validating qualifications and specialized knowledge in rehabilitation nursing.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVE
Upon completion, participants will be able to:
• Assess patients with a rehabilitation diagnosis & identify interventions that meet individual needs.
• Evaluate and apply rehabilitation principles in a variety of clinical situations.
• Explain the impact of rehabilitation services including direct care delivery & case management.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Rehabilitation Nurses as well as nurses from other fields will benefit from this intensive two day course. Allied health care professionals dealing with rehabilitation patients will also benefit from this program.

Burke is an independent, non-profit, acute rehabilitation hospital founded in 1915. Burke is academically affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College.

CEU INFORMATION
Burke Rehabilitation Hospital is approved as a provider of continuing education in nursing by the New Jersey State Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

15.5 contact hours will be awarded for the full two days. 

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation fee for notice received in writing before October 15, 2014 is $100. Due to limited seating, there will be no refunds after October 20.
