The event takes place on Court Street in White Plains, NY (between Main Street & Martine Avenue). Yoga teacher Matthew Sanford will lead the class, which starts at 6:30 p.m. and will be accompanied by the live music of Answer the Muse.
Matthew is the author of the book Waking: A Memoir of Trauma and Transcendence, about a devastating car accident in which he was paralyzed from the chest down and the subsequent waking of both mind and body through yoga, writes the MHA.
To reserve your spot, visit MHAwestchester.org. Through June 17, tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for “little yogis” (12 and under). Tickets are $25 the day of the event.
On the day of the event, registration begins at 5:30 p.m. The first 500 registrants receive a complimentary yoga mat and gift bag.
