As part of the Fitness Center at Burke's Brown Bag Series Lunch and Learn, the Fitness Center and Burke's Outpatient Physical Therapy Department will be hosting the "Balance and Fall Prevention in the Home and Community" seminar at the Rosedale Conference Room in the Billings Building, building 4, on Burke's main campus. Burke is located at 785 Mamaroneck Ave. in White Plains.
Alana Brehms, DPT, will be leading the talk and will review what you can do to prevent falls in the home with an emphasis on staying active and educated. Burke's renowned team of rehabilitation and fitness experts will also be there to help you understand the principles of good balance and exercise as a part of lifelong health and wellness.
