Laurane Magliari of New York City and former patient at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital will be spreading some holiday cheer at 3 p.m. on Saturday. Having had a wonderful experience during her rehabilitation at Burke, she wanted to help bring joy to other patients who find themselves in the hospital and away from their families during the holidays.
Magliari has donated a Christmas tree that Burke patients, friends and family will be decorating this weekend. Along with tree trimming, there will be Christmas carol sing-a-longs and refreshments served. The festivities will take place at Burke Rehabilitation Hospital's Main Hospital Dining Room – 785 Mamaroneck Avenue in White Plains.
