Former Patient Spreads Holiday Cheer

Published December 2, 2012

Former Burke patient Laurane Magliari wanted to help bring joy to other patients who had to be in the hospital and away from their families during the holidays. She added cheer to the hospital by donating a 10-ft. Christmas tree that Burke patients, friends and family decorated on Dec. 1. The well-dressed tree will be in the Patient Dining Room for all to enjoy through the first week January 2013 and during every holiday season thereafter. It is a gift that will continue to give for many Christmases to come.
